What we process and why
- Orders and customer accounts: we use your name, contact, billing and delivery details, order contents, payment status and related communications to enter into and perform our contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). We cannot fulfil an order without the necessary information.
- Accounting and legal obligations: information on invoices and other records is processed under Article 6(1)(c).
- Enquiries, complaints and protection of rights: we use information you provide to handle your request, perform our contract or meet a legal obligation. Website security and prevention of misuse are based on our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f).
- Newsletter: we process your email address and subscription record with your consent under Article 6(1)(a). Subscription is voluntary. Unsubscribe using the link in any newsletter or email us.
- Visitor statistics: we use Google Analytics. Optional analytics cookies and the associated processing require consent, which you can manage through the website’s cookie controls.
Who receives data
Where necessary, data may be shared with payment and delivery providers, accounting services, hosting providers and technical support. We use Mailchimp (Intuit) for newsletters and Google Analytics (Google) for statistics. These providers process data within the scope of their services and applicable contractual terms. We also disclose data to public authorities when required by law.
Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Mailchimp and Google services may involve processing in the USA or other countries. Applicable safeguards are set out in their terms, including adequacy decisions where applicable or standard contractual clauses. See the Mailchimp data processing terms and Google data processing terms. You may request information about the safeguards from us.
How long we keep data
Order information is kept for the duration of contract fulfilment and subsequently as required for legal obligations and the necessary protection of rights. Accounting and tax records follow the applicable statutory retention periods. Account information is kept while the account is in use; closing an account does not remove legal record-keeping obligations. Newsletter data is kept until consent is withdrawn, with necessary consent or unsubscribe records retained to demonstrate compliance and prevent further mailings. Enquiries are retained as needed to resolve them and address related claims. Cookie lifetimes are described in our Cookie Policy.
Your rights
Subject to GDPR conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Contact us at the email address above. You may also lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection or your competent supervisory authority.
Cookies and consent preferences
Necessary cookies support the basket, sign-in and your preferences. You can reject optional categories or change your choices through the consent controls. See our Cookie Policy for details and the list of cookies.
